Friends Gathering in PA.

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that Karen of "My Colonial Home" is having a gathering of friends in PA. You can find all of the information by going to her blog. It sounds like it will be a great time. I wish I had the time to attend, but with my shows coming up this Fall, I'll be spending all of my time preparing for them. Some day I will do something fun like this, though. For now, I'll have to settle for reading stories about them, and seeing the fun pictures. Make sure you go over and check it out! ~Getting Back on Track~

We had so much fun this past week end!! Our friends from Tn. left around noon on Monday. We hated to see them leave. The plan was to get back to sewing on Tuesday, but on Sun. night, my 12 year old started not feeling good, and by Monday, we had sick kids. :( Of course our youngest had to pick up the bug as well. Grace (the youngest) was able to go back to school yesterday, but poor Hillary was still just to weak to go back. We are hoping today she will be well enough. So, hopefully today I will be able to get back at some orders that I need to get finished, and I will have enough time to get some things listed on LPS for the first. I'll let you know my progress as it gets closer. We are having such rainy, dreary days here right now, so it will be easier to stay inside and get some work done. I really need to get out in the flower beds again, so I'd better get lots done....there are all kinds of things popping up around here, and I have no idea what they are, being that it is our first Spring here. It'll be exciting to see what comes up, and hard to keep the girls from picking everything!! You know how little girls and flowers are! ;) Well, time to get them up for school and start my busy day. I'm So Excited!!!

Well, tomorrow afternoon our friends from TN. will be arriving!! We are all so excited to see them again. They will only be staying until Sunday, but at least they are coming! I wish they could stay for a week. We will be having an old fashioned cook out tomorrow night, and just spending the night catching up. On Sat., it is all Mexican food....I can almost taste it already.....tacos, fajitas, freshly made salsa & guacamole.... I absolutely love Mexican food. We will be having my sister & her husband and some of our friends from here over, so everyone can meet each other. We will have a house full for sure with at least 12 or more kids and probably just as many adults!! I may need next week to rest up!! Well, I am going to go get into my jammies and get to bed early tonight, and hopefully get a good nights sleep. I have a busy week end ahead of me. ~~New Update Is Ready~~

I just finished updating my Picture Trail, so those of you interested in seeing my new items, just click the link over on the left and go to my March update page. I will be mailing out all purchases made, but I am taking this coming week off to get ready for my guests who will be arriving on Friday. I can't wait to see them again!! ~~New Items Are Coming Soon~~

I am busy working on some new items for an update on Sunday (the 15th). I think I will just do a Picture Trail update, since it's been awhile now since I've had one. I'm not sure exactly when Sunday, but I will post here when it is ready. Yesterday I almost got 4 of my new little dolls finished, and I must say I think they are pretty cute! My fingers sure hurt from stitching those little faces though, and I have 2 more to go. I recently bought about 25 yards of fabric, and had to try some of them out, and I love them!! Some are a little different than my normal, but they turned out so nice after being put through the "process". I hope you all like them as much as I do. Well, it's time for me to see Derek off to work, then get the girls up and ready for school so I can start my work day. I have so much to do before Sunday!! Next week I will be taking off so that I can get Spring cleaning done, and go shopping for our out-of-state friends that are coming to visit us. I can't wait to see them!! ~~4 New Patterns Finished~~

I was finally able to get a couple of patterns that I've had requests for finished!! I only have them listed on Pattern Mart right now, but hope to get them on my Picture Trail & Ebay soon. You can find them here . To help you a little, they are ~~ Little Angel, Little Dollie, Myrta & Peter Rabbit. Now I am off to go outside and enjoy the warm weather we are having today!! OOPPSS!!! Running a Little Behind!!

Okay, so I was supposed to do some updating & yesterday Derek & I decided to go antiquing & go out for lunch. The plan was that I would go have some fun, and then work all afternoon & get things updated last night. Well, then some of our friends decided to go bowling, so we decided that would be fun!! We had to wait almost 2 hours for lanes to open up, and then we bowled a couple of games. The kids had a blast & so did we. :) Well, by the time we got home, there was no way I was going to get anything finished, so here I am this morning, scrambling to get a few things done to list on Lemon Poppy Seeds. I WILL have an update early this afternoon for LPS, but will not be able to have my Picture Trail update like I had wanted. I guess I will shoot for next Sunday with that one!! So, if you would like to check back later this afternoon, I will have 5 dolls & one new Rabbit updated for you to look at.
