Primitive Log Cabin

I am so proud of Derek's new little log cabin!! It is entirely handmade with tons of detail!! He spent many hours working on this to make it just right. I think it shows. We have had many wonderful comments on it so far. You can see more pictures of it on ebay. Here is a link to see the auction...

Here's all 5 of the Kids

Here they all are right before we left WI. to head to TN. Cassie~20, Cody~18, Courtney~15, Hillary~10 & Gracie~8. Cody stayed back in WI. We are still working on getting him to move here with us. We all miss him so much!! But, just turning 18, he wanted to venture out on his own~~I remember how that was, but it doesn't make it any easier on us to be so far apart!!

1st Day of School

Well, I am a little late with this, but better late than never!! The girls started school down here on Aug. 15th. They were all so scared and nervous being the new kids, but they are adjusting well. They have all made new friends and seem to like their teachers. Now that they are back to school, I will have more time to post on here and to create more!! I wanted to post some pictures of them on their first day, but have been having problems getting my pictures on here right. If I ever get it figured out, I'll post them!!

Big Move

Well, we have been busy making our move from Central Wi. to Eastern Tn. It has been quite the experience. Intially we all wanted to head right back home, but we are adjusting better now. The kids start school on the 15th, so that will help. We are out in the country, and they haven't been able to make any friends yet. It is so beautiful out here, so I'm sure once things settle into more of a routine, we will love it here. It has been extremely hot and humid, but I hear it has been that way even back in Wi. We are all looking forward to the warmer winters, although we will miss the snow for Christmas. I'm hoping to be able to share more on here once things get more settled, and share lots of pictures of places in the area and some of our most recent work.

Blessings~~Jackie
