~Getting Back on Track~

We had so much fun this past week end!! Our friends from Tn. left around noon on Monday. We hated to see them leave. The plan was to get back to sewing on Tuesday, but on Sun. night, my 12 year old started not feeling good, and by Monday, we had sick kids. :( Of course our youngest had to pick up the bug as well. Grace (the youngest) was able to go back to school yesterday, but poor Hillary was still just to weak to go back. We are hoping today she will be well enough. So, hopefully today I will be able to get back at some orders that I need to get finished, and I will have enough time to get some things listed on LPS for the first. I'll let you know my progress as it gets closer. We are having such rainy, dreary days here right now, so it will be easier to stay inside and get some work done. I really need to get out in the flower beds again, so I'd better get lots done....there are all kinds of things popping up around here, and I have no idea what they are, being that it is our first Spring here. It'll be exciting to see what comes up, and hard to keep the girls from picking everything!! You know how little girls and flowers are! ;) Well, time to get them up for school and start my busy day. OOPPSS!!! Running a Little Behind!!

Okay, so I was supposed to do some updating & yesterday Derek & I decided to go antiquing & go out for lunch. The plan was that I would go have some fun, and then work all afternoon & get things updated last night. Well, then some of our friends decided to go bowling, so we decided that would be fun!! We had to wait almost 2 hours for lanes to open up, and then we bowled a couple of games. The kids had a blast & so did we. :) Well, by the time we got home, there was no way I was going to get anything finished, so here I am this morning, scrambling to get a few things done to list on Lemon Poppy Seeds. I WILL have an update early this afternoon for LPS, but will not be able to have my Picture Trail update like I had wanted. I guess I will shoot for next Sunday with that one!! So, if you would like to check back later this afternoon, I will have 5 dolls & one new Rabbit updated for you to look at. I'll try to get a picture or two of some of my finds from yesterday & post them for you. I found a couple of cute props for our Fall shows!! Blessings until next time~~Jackie

~Busy Working~

Well, I've been busy working on some new things. I have so many things swirling around in my head....it's hard to get them all out! I am starting to work on some things to start tucking away for my shows in the Fall too, so I am working on all 4 Seasons at one time!! Talk about trying to keep focused!! I am hoping to have an update on my P.T. on Sunday, and a couple of things for LPS on the 1st, so please check back if you want to know my progress. I'll try to get some sneak peeks in a few days. ~My First Blog Give Away~

Okay, I've been wanting to do a give away for awhile now, but never seem to find the time to make anything extra for it. So, I thought I'd do a $25.00 gift certificate towards any patterns or dolls from my Picture Trail. This will need to be used by the end of 2009.
